Abito è un community project, dove si costruisce insieme un luogo di comunicazione attiva e temporaneo. Il progetto germoglia nel 2011 a Roma OutDoor e trova la sua forma laboratoriale e processuale nel 2016 a Vico Tronari, nella Sanità a Napoli durante Altofest Napoli 2016 (qui link it) (here link eng).

Tramite la manipolazione tessile ed i gesti strettamente legati ad essi, come: taglio, cucio, annodo, si attivano gli spazi del dialogo e di ascolto nella comunità soggetto attivo del progetto. Il principale obiettivo è l'attivazione dell’immaginazione collettiva. In Abito la decorazione è intesa come materia pittorica e segno in relazione allo spazio architettonico ed esseri viventi.

Abito: exercises to explore space through weaving is a community projects, where we build a temporary place of dialogue and imagination. The project germinated in 2011 at Rome OutDoor and found its workshop and process form in 2016 at Vico Tronari, in the Sanità, Naples, during Altofest Napoli 2016 (here link eng).

Through textile manipulation and the gestures closely related to them: cutting, sewing, and knotting, spaces of dialogue and listening are activated in the community that is the subject of the project. The main goal is to create a space of collective care and imagination. In Abito, decoration is pictorial matter and sign concerning architectural space and living beings.
